On this cover of You Make Me Feel Like (A Natural Woman) Benedict is joined by Jason Barfoot on drums and Sam Scherr on electric guitar and backing vocals.
The song was recorded by Alan Smith in 2006, when Benedict was working on songs that would appear on the album The Lines of Parallel Trees (released in 2007).
Background:
Having played as a two-piece through 2005, Jason and Benedict were joined at live shows through 2006 by Rob Schifferli (on bass and electric guitar) and Jonathan Brain (on piano). This is the group that played on The Lines of Parallel Trees:

Jason and Jonathan continued to work with Benedict. Both played on the 2008 album Continuous Talking:

Highlights of that album include Jonathan’s acoustic and nylon-string guitar on the tracks And Not Riding on a Stolen Horse and Aberrant:

The first track on Continuous Talking (Two Girls) is played by Benedict and Jason as it was in live shows through 2005 and 2006:

Benedict had the idea to record Natural Woman as way of getting to work with Capital City frontman Sam Scherr.
Some Western Australian punters had earlier been nonplussed when Benedict opened for Capital City at the launch of their 2004 ep Capital City Versus the Bangkok Lady Boys - though by that time the two singers had already been circling for several years.
Following Natural Woman Sam was to become a long-term collaborator, playing on three albums with Benedict.
On Continuous Talking Sam brings the album to a close with his guitar solo on final track Bicoastal:

On Timesheet (2010) the track Believer provided an opportunity for mutual expatiation by Benedict and Sam, via Telecaster/Mustang exchanges:

And on White Marble Heyday (2011), while drummer Lily Sumich thought the track Thermal Currents was leaning toward the Go-Go’s, Sam’s guitar playing had others thinking of Steve Cropper:

On White Marble Heyday Sam also lays it down on Benedict’s ode to “Mr Frontside Flip” Andrew Reynolds:

In live shows over the years Sam contributed to the reworking of older songs. Two examples can be seen in live videos from 2010, of songs from The Lines of Parallel Trees:
